I can think of one person who can name the artist and album title of this entry's heading above. And that person is also the one to have introduced me to the earthy funk and rhythmic bass grooves of Shuggie Otis. Though I have a mid-term test tomorrow, Otis' free flowing jazz vibes make me drift in and out of consciousness without a care on this hot, Beijing night.

'Inspiration Information' is Otis' second album from the early 1970s - during a time of controversies over Vietnam. Yet, in between the airwaves of war and peace talks came the tunes of 21-year old Californian, Shuggie Otis.
