Farewell, my China

Well, after nearly two months of dumplings, red bean popsicles, gray skies and Olympics preparations, I'm heading back to CA in three hours. It's been quite a summer in Beijing - one that won't be forgotten anytime soon.

My main objective upon landing in CA is to beat this jet lag. Later next week, I'm headed down to LA for my cousin's wedding, then it's apartment moving in Berkeley, class registration, then school. It will be a busy August.

It's too bad we won't be around for the Olympics, but 'tis life. It'll be more comfortable watching everything on TV anyhow.

So, it's a farewell to China for now - I'll most likely be back again soon, maybe next summer...?
